Meet Bruce Hallett, Agricultural & Environmental Council President Bruce Hallett, a native Floridian and St. Johns County resident since 1999, is owner and President of Matanzas Geosciences. This small business environmental consulting firm specializes in evaluating environmental risk associated with contaminated lands, including agricultural properties, marinas, golf courses, race tracks, ranch lands, and former industrial facilities. His economic development perspective is centered on a strong, diversified work force to provide new and existing businesses with a local and skilled resource.
The St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce Agricultural & Environmental Council The purpose of the council is to promote, educate, and provide a forum within the Chamber’s structure to advance agricultural and environmental issues and show how these industries contribute to our quality of life. Council programs will focus on our agricultural heritage and the economic contribution that this industry brings to the county. Environmental programs will focus on promoting and addressing issues associated with our natural and environmental resources, sustainable development, permitting, conservation, and eco-tourism.
Meetings: The Chamber Agricultural & Environmental Council meets the fourth Thursday of each month (click for calendar). The meetings feature guest speakers presenting relevant information to you and your business.
