The annual STAR Awards ceremony is a program of the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce's Business Partners in Education Committee. The STAR Awards recognize the top three percent of all graduating seniors in the community. It is a by invitation only event. The program was started to honor students who have exemplary academic records. During the STAR recognition ceremony, each student honors a special teacher from his or her school career. The annual event is a program of the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce's Business Partners In Education Committee sponsored by Flagler Hospital, Wayne Hogan of Terrell Hogan, P.A., Bozard Ford, St. Johns River State College, St. Augustine Sunrise Rotary, VIP Presentation Products, St. Johns County Education Foundation, Tour St. Augustine and Crafts Trophies and Awards, Inc. |
