Thank you for your interest in the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce's Economic Development Council (EDC).

The mission of the Economic Development Council is two fold: 
To bring new business and industry into the community and to help existing business and industry to prosper.

The EDC is focused on strategies that will lead St. Johns County towards a prosperous future that all of our citizens can benefit from. 

Important issues the EDC is currently involved in include:

• Increasing inventory of "shovel ready" commercial/industrial zoned sites, to meet the needs of prospects who want to be here immediately, not 3-5 years from now.
• Communicating the benefits of increasing the commercial tax base and attracting high wage jobs to the residents of St. Johns County.
• Working with local government officials on issues that impact existing and new businesses, while also protecting the County's fiscal needs.
• Focusing on the qualities of St. Johns County that make us the best choice to live, work and play.
