Northwest Business Council Hosts ARC Christmas Party on December 3

The Northwest Business Council began its efforts to help ARC's clients have a merry Christmas over 16 years ago by throwing a big party complete with a meal featuring all of the holiday favorites and a visit from Santa Claus.
NWBC members receive "wish lists" from a list of ARC clients and choose several of them to purchase for. The gifts consist of anything from clothing to music and movies. Mostly, these are items they wouldn't receive if not for those who care enough to provide donations.
The ARC Christmas parties are held at Westminster Woods, a retirement condominium community on the banks of Julington Creek in Fruit Cove. Clients are called one at a time to Santa's lap to say what they'd like for Christmas. They are then handed a bag of goodies with encouragement to tear open the wrapping paper.

Thanks to the hard-working and kind-hearted folks of the NWBC, the ARC clients are afforded a festive and memorable Christmas experience that they can remember for years to come.
