Limelight Theatre's 20th Season Cast Announcement for Harvey

ST. AUGUSTINE, FLORIDA -- Limelight Theatre announced the cast for its next main stage production as part of its 20th season -- the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Harvey by Mary Chase. Directed by Limelight Theatre co-founder and retired artistic director, Jean Rahner, Harvey will play on the Matuza Main Stage January 20 through February 12, 2012 (Preview is on Thursday, February 19).

Limelight Theatre of St. Augustine announced the cast of its next main stage production--Duck Hunter Shoots Angel by Mitch Albom and directed by Lorraine Portman. This comedy, from the author of the New York Times bestselling books, Tuesdays with Morrie and The Five People You Meet in Heaven, is the story of two bumbling Alabama duck-hunting brothers who think they accidentally shot down an angel.
 
US Flag Retirement Ceremony at San Lorenzo

Every year local Boy Scout Troop 63 performs an official US flag retirement ceremony at San Lorenzo Cemetery.   This year our event is scheduled for 6:30 PM, Wednesday November 30th.   The event is free and open to all.  In the past, citizens have been encourage to bring their worn flags, provide a few words on where/how the flag served, and participate in the ceremony.  It’s a reverent and sometimes emotional program.
