JAX Chamber and St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce
to co-host ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate Birdsong’s newly remodeled office
 
Jacksonville, Fla. – December 5, 2022 – Birdsong Hearing Benefits™ today announced their Platinum membership in the JAX Chamber. Started in 2022, Birdsong completed a national search and chose to locate their headquarters in Jacksonville, Fla.
 
Sharon Fletcher, PhD, MBA, Birdsong’s president and CEO, shared, “We chose Jacksonville, not only for the physical beauty, but also because of the tremendous business and healthcare community. Our desire is to become deeply involved in and supportive of our new community. Being members of both the JAX Chamber and the St. Johns County Chamber are important steps to realizing that desire.”
 
Birdsong is a third-party administrator for health insurance companies, employer and union groups to manage their supplemental hearing benefits. Birdsong employs nearly forty employees with plans to grow to over 100 within a couple of years. The Jacksonville office supports all of their operational services including sales, membership, claims processing, customer service center and IT.
 
Birdsong chose to locate their headquarters in the Gramercy Woods office complex. The 26,000 square foot office space was recently remodeled through support of the Site Selection Group. The project was accomplished by area Jacksonville businesses including Antique & Modern Cabinets, Accu-Air Cooling Service, Brown Enterprises, Codes-ABC Inc., Dixie Carpet, DL Williams Electric, Emerald C’s Development, Interior Fusion, North Florida Glass, OE&S, RDB Design Associates, Rinkwell Plumbing, Savage Brothers Painting, Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers, W.W. Gay Fire Protection and 904 Comm Net.
 
The JAX Chamber and St. Johns County Chamber are co-hosting the ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, December 8 at Birdsong’s headquarters.
